WHO WE ARE

Our project and focus is to provide educational opportunities for children, youth and adults of Rivera Hernandez community in Honduras, so they can have hope for a better future. We are known in the community as “Esperanza” which means “Hope”. This location is home to; Hope Vocational Technical Institute, Hope School, Hope High School, IHER, Hope Ministries along with 7 different Impact Programs.

THE PROBLEM

Insecurity, fear and lack of resources prevent families from pursuing education. A large percentage of the kids that go to school in these areas, finish 6th grade without knowing how to read and write. This problematic leaves these families' futures at risk of falling into a repetitive cycle of poverty and danger.

OUR SOLUTION

We are being God’s hands and feet in this community by bringing transformation and restoration to these families through education and the love of God. Education has been our open door to start loving these families. Transformation is possible and we have witnessed it.
